Been needing to get some brass for the 300 WSM and took the plunge and went with Norma brass. What's everyone's experience with Norma brass?

I just ordered 200 more pieces of Norma 300 WSM brass. It is my preferred brass for my 300 WSM, 270 WSM, 7mm RM and 280 Remington. It is uniform and consistent. The flash holes and primer pockets are drilled, not punched, so clean-up is not nearly so critical.

I bought Nosler brass for my 300WSM, and I couldn't be happier with it. Thinking of slowly moving all my rounds over to Nosler brass.

Rumor has it that it's made by Norma. No idea if that's true or not.

Norma has advertised that they provide Nosler brass (along with several others) in the past.

I use Norma brass in the Weatherby calibers and it is great brass with well controlled wieght and tolerances, especially in the larger magnums. Good stuff!

Have been using mostly Norma brass from my .300 WSM, and it's holding up very well. The stuff seems to be quite well made, as well as durable.

Does it require much prep too get it ready to use? The Nosler brass for my 280 was ready to use when I got it.

I don't have to true the primer pocket or trim the flash hole, though I do have to chamfer the mouth. Seldom is it beat up and dented as would be the case with some (most?) domestically produced brass.

I am not sure who makes the Nosler brass, but if it Norma, I would buy it all! I am telling you this, I love the Nosler stuff. Between the 264 and 338, I have loaded it alot! As long as you take care of the stuff, it is tough, cleans up nice and comes ready to load. I am pretty sure when I start loading for a 300WSM, I will start with Norma or Nosler brass. I like it a whole lot. I would like to switch all of my chamberings over to it to be honest. You might pay extra for it upfront, but I have alot of loadings on some cases and I cannot begin to tell you when they might give up. You get your moneys worth out of them. Can't say enough good about them. Scotty

I just bought some Nosler brass for the first time, they are .340 Weatherby cases and I bought 2 packages to have 50 cases on hand. They just arrived and I have not loaded them yet but they look like high quality cases just by inspection and workmanship. I will switch to these for both the .340 Bee and 7mm Rem Mags from now on!

I have had some quality issues recently with 7mm Rem Mag brass from W-W. Buying the Nosler magnum cases will solve that problem! I will weigh and check some dimensions when I load them.

If I ever get myself organized, I'm gonna start loading Lapua in the chamberings they offer (as of now, for me, .223, .243 and '06) Nosler for what Lapua missed (.17 Remington (whoohoo!), .25-06, .257 Weatherby, .300 H&H/WSM/RSAUM/WM/Weatherby/RUM). I'll stick with Hornady .204 and 6.5 Creedmoor. Does Nosler make Whelen brass yet? Pretty much stuck with Winchester for 6mm, .300 Savage and .358 Winchester, plus I have a boatload of Winchester .270. Same with Remington for .221 Fireball. Oops, I forgot I have over 300 Remington .25-06 hulls.
