Top 3 powders for 7mm Rem Mag?

I've done most of my 7mm mag loading/shooting with 160 and 175 grain bullets.

Reloader 22 and H4831 each provided excellent velocity and accuracy with my handloads.

For the bullet weights you listed I would try H 4831 first, then RL 22, and finally IMR 7828. One of those should work for you.

I dunno if it's one of the top 3, but I like H 1000. I also like 160 to 175 grain bullets.

H 1000 and 160 gr. Nosler Partitions. What a great combination.

Had good luck this last fall developing a 7MM Rem Mag load for elk season. Best load was 160 grain AccuBond, R-P brass, Federal 215 magnum primers and 72.5 grains H1000. H4831SC also gave outstanding results. The H1000 load yielded (2) 3-shot group under a 1/4" and (2) 6X6 bull elk. Both elk dropped like they went thru a trapdoor

Dad always loaded IMR 4350 under 130 Grian Speers. Dont remember how many grains thoough. CL

I'm mostly a 160gr guy for the 7mags but H4831sc, RL22 & IMR7828 have given me good perf. w/ bullets from 140-175gr. H4831sc is likely to be better for the 140gr, but your rifle will tell you.

REloder 22, then reloder 22 some more and then for good measure some more reloder 22. Vastly superior to both H4831sc and H1000 and I have the half empty cans of both to prove it.
