I am beginning to reload my own ammo and I am going to be shooting either Nosler AccuBond 140gr. or Partition 150gr. What are some of the best powders for this that have good accuracy and f.p.s.?
Had good luck this last fall developing a 7MM Rem Mag load for elk season. Best load was 160 grain AccuBond, R-P brass, Federal 215 magnum primers and 72.5 grains H1000. H4831SC also gave outstanding results. The H1000 load yielded (2) 3-shot group under a 1/4" and (2) 6X6 bull elk. Both elk dropped like they went thru a trapdoor
I'm mostly a 160gr guy for the 7mags but H4831sc, RL22 & IMR7828 have given me good perf. w/ bullets from 140-175gr. H4831sc is likely to be better for the 140gr, but your rifle will tell you.
REloder 22, then reloder 22 some more and then for good measure some more reloder 22. Vastly superior to both H4831sc and H1000 and I have the half empty cans of both to prove it.
