Tripod follow up.

I was able to find a good deal on a Manfrotto tripod and monopod fo use with the binoculars when they arrive.
Has anybody tried using the Manfrotto hand grip head? Looks like it might be handy.

I have seen that one but not used one. I have one of their 3 way pan heads on my big Bogan tripod and one of their ball heads on my lighter weight Manfroto. Well actually the light one has a gimbal head I’m trying with my 600mm lens.

I've used it on my hunting tripod for some time. Hand grip overall is fine, but can get a bit slippery especially if it's foggy morning. Other than that it's perfectly fine grip head.
