Interesting pictures. Will be testing them on paper as soon as the weather permits 40+ mph winds today.

168 gr 30 cal TTsx and 180 gr E-tip 30 cal.

It is interesting. I would have thought that being that the 180 e tip is almost as long as a 200 ab, that the 168ttsx might not be quite as close in length to the e tip.
Gotta give you a ribbing on your machine job.....you got the job done but your pic wont' be in the fancy gun magazines with the super smooth sections they treat us to!!
Anyhow...it is sure interesting to see how virtually identical the cavities are between the two manufacturers.
One last comment....just wondering if there was a different "kind of feel" to the alloy as you hit the grinder wheel with them?? (ASSumption that the tool was a grinder wheel!)

You're right the pictures could have been better. The hardness of the coper felt identical. The tips though...The e-tip is way less flexible and way tougher, almost like solid.

Pop, can you grind it down just a tad farther to show the difference in cavities?

Great photo JustMo - Thanks!

I may just have to try some of those from my .300 WSM...

What am I saying? I've got about a lifetime supply of Nosler Solid Base hunting bullets that work great from it???

I was going to shoot them today but at 35 mph gusts .....No.
