Well I have been doing some work with my 270 WSM and 140 ABs. I tried Have got one load of RL-25 that shoots .75-1 MOA. Played with some 7828 ssc and at 65.5 gr I got two that cut each other and one about two inches right and quarter inch down. The weather has not been good for shooting lately, but as soon as it clears up I'll take the chrony out and get some results on the RL-25 load, the tweaking of the 7828ssc load, and a few new RL-22 loads.

In your guys experience if you have a load that shoots like that (two in and one out) and you play with the OAL, can you get it to shoot? Or do some loads just do that and that is the best they'll do. I'm kind of thinking that if two are almost in the same hole that it is trying to shoot, and just needs a bit of tweaking. Whats your thoughts?

2 in and 1 out, turn your seater in 1/4 turn to close up the group.

I like what JD said!

Although, years ago I had a lt. wt. Model 70 (.270) that did that also. I scraped the barrel-channel and they all went in the same hole after that.

Sometimes theres always something to watch-out for  .

Thanks guys I'll try that. I have already free floated the barrel and bedded the action so all that should be good to go.

ive got a load of 55.5 gr of IMR4350 with a 165gr nosler partician in my 30/06 that was doin the same thing 2 rounds touching and 1 at 3/4'' high and left,, ive since bedded the rifle ,, but i havent tryed that load yet

Seating depth and a change in primers will do it!
