Today I got to spend time at the range with some favorite rifles, and some good friends. It was wonderful!
Something I hadn't anticipated was being able to put some rounds through a very nice Noveske AR-15, with a 10.5" barrel and the OSS suppressor, topped by a mini-Aimpoint. I'd never handled the rifle before. Shouldered it, put the red dot on the "10" in the center of the target and squeezed off three as rapidly as I could, keeping the dot centered.
Dang, all three were right there!
What a hoot. Great rifle. Good optics. Impressive suppressor. Yeah, my Nosler hat is knocked all askew. Oh well.
Also did some shooting with a couple far more traditional rifles... More on that later.
