This is the second year in a row that I've found myself hunting, with my son, on Veteran's Day.

I kind of miss our small-town Veterans Day parade, it is pretty cool, but hunting seems like a good way to spend the weekend as well.

Been quite a while now since I mustered out, but I still think of the men and women of our far-flung armed forces, scattered about the world in various hot-spots, doing their duty to help keep us safe. May God bless them and keep them safe while us old salts enjoy life here at home.
