I know this can be a touchy subject for some but I wanted to pass along an interesting thread from another forum on the performance of a VLD "game" bullet on a bear.
The VLD's are very high BC bullets that offer very long range performance with higher retained velocity and flatter trajectories but IMHO, they are still target bullets. They do not offer any kind of "controlled expansion".

I am by no means an expert on bears but I have taken 3 black bears, all with Nosler partitions. Always a quick kill with a nice exit wound. :wink:
