Does anyone use the Berger VLD hunting bullets? If so, what are you thoughts on them for accuracy and game performance.

I've used them, and am one heck of a satisfied customer, finding them to perform exactly as advertised. Very accurate, very lethal.

Someone brought this up the other day, you should be able to find that thread, it shouldn't be too far down.
From what I've read: Accuracy is absolutely top of line. On-game performance, some people report animals will fall dead like a potato sack, while others report the bullets failing, acting more like a FMJ.

Thanks for the link.
Not all VLD's are made for shooting game but the hunting version of the Berger VLD's do a good job of killing stuff. I use Amax's more than Bergers typically but they both work. Put the bullet where it needs to go and get your knife out because the works about to begin.
