My niece recently graduated from High School and is accepted to VMI, Virginia Military Institute. Her parents are scratching their heads as she’s been an Air Force brat. Mom, dad and grandfather. There’s also some Navy/coast guard on her dad’s side of the family. Any VMI alum in here? She’s in the Civil Engineering program assuming they don’t break her the first two weeks…

Congratulations to your niece. I worked with a guy who graduated from VMI. Very well educated, very articulate on a wide range of subjects and an outstanding team member. If she does well there, the world will be her oyster.
