Wanted: 338 Federal

Looking for a 338 Federal, Kimber or Ruger. Prefer wood stock.

Just a suggestion. Find a 308 that fits your bill and then just rebore it. You'll likely save some money. A couple of years ago I did a rebore based off a Ruger RA Wolf, topped with a Leupold 2X7X33, and had the trigger tweeked.... and still came in at about the same price of a raw new M77 Ruger.

There has been the odd one on GunBroker from time to time.
The Sako's are also very nice.
Savage appears to be the only one still chambering the 338 Federal.But most are in synthetic stocks.

It is too bad, as it is a great cartridge! I have two...

There is a guy that had a Kimber .338 Federal with a Redfield 2-7 for $750 on the Hunting Washington forum.
