Washington Draw Results

I've never shot a 300 H&H that would be interesting rifle to shoot. Sounds like a neet rifles especially having it handed down. I'm a first generation hunter so I never had anything like that handed down to me. I do look foward to passing it on.

Did you mention what you elk load for that rifle is.

The 300 H&H is easy to load with the long taper neck. The recoil is not as harsh as a 300win. mag. More of a push then a rapid recoil. My partner has a 300 H&H too that he inheraited from his grandfather. It is a Winchester Pre 64 model 70. I have a Leupold VXIII 1.5x5x20mm obj. mounted on ion mine so I think it well suite well in the elk woods.
 
That 300 H&H is a cool round. I had a few boxes of 300 H&H Match, probably from the 50's or so? Either way, it is a very long, sleek cases that just looks very classy. It would be neat if Nosler would chamber their Legacy in the old warhorse. Scotty
