The Washington State Regs are out on line for those that are interested. New tag system that allows hunters to apply for multiple tags (can only use one) per species. Also changed some opportunities.

Have you figured out the multi option special hunt process. Ie are they tag specific? Like can you only put in for one side or the other. I don't think they are weapon specific, in that you can put in for MZ, Archery and rifle hunts at the same time? What do you think? I got my preference points for Nevada and Oregon in the mail. So the next is to get Washington figured out!!!!!!

It gets pretty self-explanatory while actually ordering on-line. The system will only let you select certain options.

I went with all "modern rifle" tags this year. Decided to put off the archery and muzzle loader hunts for a while.

Have two hunts locked in concrete - bear in September and mule deer in October. Other than that, it all depends on the draw. Put in for a couple of elk hunts (quality and antlerless) and also deer hunts (quality and antlerless) as well as for bighorn sheep, mtn goat and moose.

Bought my sons tags and licenses as well. The youngest son anyway. The older lad can buy his own doggone hunting license!

Regards, Guy
