In fairness, remember that this is the AG who engineered the trial that found Mr. Trump guilty of fraud when no one was defrauded. While Mr. LaPierre may be execrable, he stood trial in a state that appears increasingly lawless and before a jury that can reliably be questioned as to their willingness to apply the law.

Meh, don't care. He admitted on the stand, under oath, that he did what he is accused of doing. He can rot as far as I'm concerned, and all his enablers with him.

Everybody wants to "drain the swamp" in Washington and ignore the cesspool in their own backyard. The NRA leadership had decades to fix the problem on their own and had no inclination to do so. With any luck, the organization can be rebuilt after the infection is gone.

Wayne raised a lot of money in my state, then spent little effort in fighting against a huge number of bad bills. The board is equally selfish.
