We don't have a spending problem" ... Oh yeah?
"Just a misallocation of our wealth" ... That may have included Congress' last paycheck raise, awarded by O'B!

Congress can bleat, "We don't have a spending problem!" They can spend whenever they like and even spend what they don't have! So, the FDA can spend a couple of hundred thousand dollars on diversity training (whatever that may be) to pay someone to make participants chant in unison, "The pilgrims were illegal aliens," and to assure themselves that there are no such things as minorities, just emerging majorities. It isn't their money, after all; and if they need more, the prezzy will raise taxes--perhaps even by executive order!

This is just one more example of "remessaging" that will be repeated often enough until it becomes the accepted fact, regardless of the lunacy of the statement and the absolute untruth of it all. That it is being parroted by numerous prominent dems right now says it was tested in some focus group and they found out that more gullible people (read: uninformed voters) believe this statement than any other version. It will get played over and over in the media and before June it will be the new mantra to shut down discussions of budget reduction. The faster we all figure out how to get off the economic grid in this country, the better. I'm investigating exactly what my options are in terms of getting off and out. It's not going to be pretty around here. The lunatics are truly in charge of the asylum.
