Weight Sorted

Weight Sorted... What does this mean exactly? Nosler claims that thier brass has been Weight Sorted. What is an exseptable range for a lot of brass to be at? all cases withing 0-5grn. 5-10grn. 10+ ??

All my match-grade cases are checked for length and trimmed, if needed. Then weighed, usually staying in a 2.0 grain range. Then each case is filled with water to make sure all cases have the same capacity for the powder charge. That's how I get started in sorting my cases.

Nosler brass is all trimmed to a uniform length, sized, chamfered on the case mouth, and flash hole deburred. The cases are weight sorted to +/- .5 grains. That means for every box of brass there is only one grain difference in weight from the heaviest to the lightest piece. all the pieces will fit inside that weight specification.
