Well in 2 hours the kids get out of school and we're off to slam some ham, as DrMike says.
It is an 18 hr drive and I gotta do it in a straight shot.
The 6mm rem, 356 win, 325 wsm and the 500 S&W will be accompanying us.
Off we go to Texas.

Fotis, as soon as you bag that first hog, you'll be addicted and this will become an annual trip if not more frequently. As mention a while back, the only thing I miss about being in CA and Vandenberg AFB is the ability to hunt hogs year round.

Good luck Pop and let us know how they eat. I have a buddy Cathey's Valley CA and he keeps telling me I need to come down and hunt hogs with him sometime. They will pit BBQ them sometimes and have the whole area over for dinner. He said they really turn out great that way.

Don't forget pictures, and drive safe!

You're already on your way when I write this, but I certainly wish you and Stephen all the best in slamming ham. With the rifles and handguns you are packing, you are definitely loaded for be... er, hog.

Sounds like a GREAT TIME. Hope you get lots of sighting, lots of shooting and lots of pork to take home.

Long

Good luck, safe travels. We'll be looking forward to some pictures when you get back.

Good luck buddy! Can't wait to hear how it turns out! Hope you are able to bring home the bacon! Scotty
