I don't think so. The 17 HMR has got the market sewed up. I've got a Marlin 917V that's a lot of fun to shoot, accurate to.

anyone here ever had a 5mm? I did back in the day, as far as rimfires go, it had no peers, almost as fast as a 17 HMR with a 36 gr hp. took many, many turkeys and a couple deer with mine. still alot of rifles out there so if ammo looks like it'll remain in production, I'll have melvin forbes build me one in left hand. a better fox rifle was never made.

Many years back, I wanted a 5mm Rem Mag. The 36 gr jacketed Power Lokt bullet was all business. I was very disappointed when Remington discontinued the rifle and ammunition. I still to this day can't understand why they made this decision.
If Remington were to reintroduce the 5mm Rem Mag, I think it would be a hit.
I know that I would buy one.
