What rifle action for a build?

Yeah, might as well have it too. I wanna make sure they eat what their used to! Don't want them having to change their diet too much! Man, new safe.... I don't relish the idea of having to move the one I have right now when the Marine Corps moves me again! Scotty

Early in my Marine Corps career, it was no big deal to move my personal firearms. I had one revolver, one rifle and one shotgun. Life was simple. A mere ten years later when I moved there was a small arsenal of handguns, several rifles, three shotguns, thousands of rounds of ammo, the RCBS Rockchucker, dies, brass, bullets, powder... Was real glad I had a roomy, heavy-duty SUV.

when you get ready to sell, (that camo stocked 308 first) make sure I am included. With me you don't have to ship, you don't have all of that messy paperwork, I pay in cash, not checks or money orders, I will drive up and pick them up, buy you lunch?, nah maybe dinner and clean your garage at the same time. I have room in my second safe for about 6 or 8 more. I also have some really nice 22's and several 30 caliber rifles.

If you need my phone number I will PM it to you!!! :?

Guy Miner - Please don't get me wrong about the 700, I would and have used them for varmint rifles and loved them and the "old" models that the bolt stayed closed when stoked were better (IMO) I tried a Sendero when they first came out and it dumped all the cartridges (TWICE) while slung but then ... "most" designs have a minor flaw or two to contend with (well except for a "good" model 70 !!) Two different A Bolts froze up on me on 2 separate elk hunts ... I have not had an "issue" with the Kimber Montana's as yet (fingers crossed xxxxxxxx) but if I do you all will hear about it - Although there is NO substitute for gun safety and knowing where your muzzle is pointed at ALL times a 3 position safety, in today's world especially) seems like a no brainer ... As 60 approaches at supersonic speed one would "think" that I would not wish to belly crawl through wet moss, hand & knee up rocky outcroppings, roll around in snow and mud ... and for what, a stinky old bull elk ? a broad foreheaded buck ? but NOOOO ! so when the chips are down and I have to "Worry" about malfunctions or freezeups I will take a classic model 70 or Mauser '98 any day, every time

and ... I too think you and I could while away well spent hours discussing guns, loads, hunts, etc ...
