What seating depth with 40 grs Ballastic Tip

What is your max. length using the 40gr.Ballistic Tip in a 223?
I've been seating the 50gr at 2.325, just wanted to know if 40gr would work at this length.

I'd have to check, but I am sure mine were shorter than that. If I remember correctly it was like 2.290" and at that there wasn't much bullet in the case.

I would recomend a max. OAL at 2.240 for alignment and neck tension.

Ive had my best results seated to a col of 2.235"
If you havent tried some RL-10x yet ...you should give it a try.
