-100 cases cal 257 roberts, to be loaded with 100grs NP and 46grs of IMR-4350
-50 cases cal 240wby mag, to be loaded with 85grs SIERRA HPBT and 51 grs of IMR-4350

the next week I expect begin to work, with the 257 wby mag and 117grs SST.

best regards

I will be loading up some 110 AB for my 257 Roberts. Went to the range a couple weeks ago to see if the rifle was still shooting well. It was. But I burned up last years deer loads so now I need to replace them. Hopefully I will get to put an AB into a deer this year. I have used Partions in the past but reallywould like to see how the AccuBond performs.

Things change, and new cartridges are shoved onto the loading bench. Today, I'm developing loads for a 7mm RM that a fellow wants to use on a Coues deer hunt in Mexico. He specifically requested that I use extreme powders and 168 grain Bergers. OAL was limited by the magazine, and the best groups I could get were about two inches. He reluctantly agreed that I could work up loads with 160 grain ABs. I don't think he'll be limited. So, that is my focus this week. Oh, and I'm still working on my 35 Whelan, in between looking for an elk and getting ready for deer.

Well...I sold my R-15 yesterday, and am selling my 22-250 and .243 so it looks like I'm back to loading more 120 BTS for my wifes 7-08. That should handle the song dogs till my Savage 12 LP in .243 gets here! Then it will be 95 and 105 bergers like crazy!

Well it's a snow day and the base is closed so it looks like a good day to load some 22-250 cases up with some 60 grain hornady hollowpoints in preparation for coyote calling on a nicer day in the not so distant future. Yep, a good reloading day for sure!

I have a Cooper Excalibur 280 AI. Yesterday I fired 120gr TTSX adjusting the bullet seating a little for each group. The rifle made it look easy, I wish I could take credit for the accuracy.
I started off with a light powder charge (60gr H4831sc)so tonight I am reloading the brass again adjusting the charge to see if I can get a little more speed without giveing up any accuracy.
I hope to experiment with the Nosler E-tip next week.

And I could not see more than 20 feet in front of me due to a snowstorm both days of my break.

Okay, guys you say your doing all this loading.. Show us...

I was hoping to see a few more benches at work than just mine... Always fun to look at brass & bullet porn...

My reloading bench.

Nodak how do you like your PACT?

Well I have a 204 that is new to me that needs a load worked up deer closes here tomarrow so I can start working on coyote loads. I will be working on 40 gr vmaxs and 45 gr softpoints

Next will be breaking in the new Christensen 257 wby which I have no idea what I am going to shoot through it yet I have 90 gr hps 100 gr bts 110 gr abs 115 gr bts and 120 gr partitions

Then I will probably work up a lighter load for my 25.06 to use when its too windy for the 204 during coyote hunting

nitis- What twist/brand/model is your 204? I have worked with CZ, TC, and Ruger in 204 with 12 twist and they all shot 32-35 grain bullets best, namely v-max and berger. None of these shot 40 grainers well at all.

I assume 1-12 as that is what remingtomn lists

My encore shot 40s better than 32s so thats why I am going with heavier bullets

Rod

Rod, I have my bench in my garage and during summer when it's unbearable I bring the work inside the house.

Here's some of those things

Sorting bullet and brass for my 338

Sorting brass for my 223 Ackley

This is where I put it all together and enjoy every minute of it

I get the satisfaction with the end result, when I can put it all in print, like this 5 shot group from my 338 Lapua at 110 yards.

Or dropping this Zebra with a very difficult angling shot at a distance of 150 yards.

or centerpunched this coyote at 480 yards

Need to get started reloading for my 204's as fur season is'nt too far away. Can't seem to find a brass catcher for my AR in 204. Can anybody point in a direction for one? Also, after fur season, gonna try loading for REM. 700 in 338WM. Frontier brass, Federal GM215 Magnum primers, RL19 powder, 200gr. Accubonds. Anyone have experience with a load similar to this?

DF,

That is some fine shooting. Thanks for the post.

Rod,

A clean bench is a sign of a sick mind, or at least that is how I console myself.
