Not necessarily fail, but fade away to "it's unsafe ir bad for you " just to sell or convince others is lunacy! If belts (belted cases) are supposed to be bad/unsafe then they wouldn’t have been designed! This thread can go or part ways in different directions which is all good! I'll ask this......
Since headspace is based off the belt and you shoulder bump does it make any relevance for accuracy ? Both type cases have their placeas both are just as good as the other. For reloaders and non it's just a choice on your needs I guess. Who falls for the non-belted being less accurate nonsense as some will argue! The only thing I would thank is a drawback on belted is when used in a semi. Not saying it's bad, but on a reloader's stand point the belt will chaf. This is the only reason I went with 6.5prc over 6.5rem in my AR. I could find brass and dies, but decided against it.
