Don't see anything wrong with those elk or deer. What a great area for hunting. I really like the dog! He looks alert and lively.

If that dog weghed 100 lbs I think it could take a griz. At 15 lbs she is hell on 4 legs

Jack Russell Terrier, isn't it? Good looking dog. Alert and lively. I'll bet it is ready to defend it's territory. That is some beautiful country in your backyard, Elk Huntr.

Well, I didn't get drawn for grizzly. There is still the possibility of a draw for the Fall hunt, but I do enjoy the spring grizzly hunt.
Now, for certain it'll be after some of the big black bears on Vancouver Island. I'll likely have to focus on wolf this spring. The pelts should be in excellent condition right now. I have some good loads worked up in my 280. Maybe I'll see about a lynx, as well.
Oops, I missed lynx. It just closed. Guess I'll wait until next winter for that.
