Where did they all go?

While in the process of working out my budget of expenses for next years State games, I was browsing around various reloading suppliers to get current prices on both 210GM primers and "Nosler 168gr HPBT".

And presuming that something of this nature has been addressed before in the past at one point or another, is the shortage due to a higher demand than supply or is the "war time" economy having an impact on availability of raw materials?

I was hoping for an answer of that nature

I would hate to see it come back to the days like those during WWII when people were turning in various metals, raw materials, and rationing food, gas and other daily necessities to support the war, but if it did come down to rationing and so on I would be all for it.
