I'm thinking of adding the carbide sizing button to my neck dies for .243 and 25-06 dies. Those who have used them are they much smoother than standard expanders that come with redding dies? Thanks CT

Tried them, not any better than the standard bottons that have been polished but now use Type "S" neck bushing dies without any expander ball, much better.Rick.

well I talked with redding and said some brass might have necks on the thick side of sammi, which isn't a big deal except they will be harder going over the expander, he stated the carbide would make some differance for sure and give it a try. I ordered one an see what it's like. The reding guy said with it free floating it is benefical with thicker necks. He did state if I wanted BR type loading then go to the s type I'll trythis first and if not then will purchase the s type and sell my other neck die.
