When I see dealers on GunBroker wanting $800 for a used Weatherby MOA Vanguard II .243 which sells for $489 new, I have to wonder myself, what is going on?

These were never that popular to start with and had a pretty short run. I simply can't imagine anyone spending $2k for one.
If I recall- an acquaintance bought one…probably in 91 or 92 and reported it to be a real clunker- I could be wrong, I've slept a lot since then.

I hunt with a guy that carries one of those! It is actually a pretty sweet brush gun. He has a red dot on it. Just not a very common gun and it's made by the same guys that make desert eagles.
