I know the .300WSM doesn't have the panache of some of those wildcats with 14 numbers and a gun writer in the name but an impressive string of one shot, dead where they stood kills has made me a believer...

Yup! That pretty well sums up the experience of a lot of us.

...when I whacked this one w/ the .300 WSM from down @ the bottom (270yds) he just "disappeared" before the scope came back down...

With my aged eyes, I had to look a few times. I thought maybe you tagged a white pickup! :shock: I can believe that it would want to disappear.

If I can get someone to buy my Tikka I'm going to try and buy 300 WSM that Jmad_81 had for sale. I'm really liking what I'm reading on it and sounds like the ticket for me.
