Winchester brass

Loading for a .270 using winchester brass I usually see a light colored ring around the case just above the case head. When I first started reloading, this concerned me, but I have noticed I see this ring on very mild loads and even factory loads. I see this ring and no other signs of overpressure. Anyone else experience this with winchester brass? Is this pretty typical? Will try to post a pic if that would help.

Without seeing a pic, if the case isn't bulged back by the web, in my opinion, it is most likely the last quarter inch or so the sizing die doesn't size the case.
