Winchester model 70

Well I have been looking at different scopes for my 7mm wsm and the scope that I am really looking at right now is the 10x42 super sniper scope. I know I have asked about this scope some time last year, but I am wondering has anyone used this scope alot and how did it work for you. Another question would a fixed power (10x42) be suitable for shooting 1500 yards?

I would go with a leupold but I am looking for a scope that has around 150 moa adjustment and the super sniper has that. Plus they even have the 20 power scope as well

For the money, super-sniper is a good scope, and 20x should be fine for 1500 yd shooting. Just might be the best hunting set up. Might be a little tough if you had to take an unexpected close shot.

I am not sure how to tell, but is the winchester model 70 black shadow a pre-64 model?

Actually POP, I just traded him my remington model 710 for this winchester model 70

I have had really good luck with the new model 70's. I am also a huge fan of the pre 64 model 70 and have a couple of really nice ones.

I love my Model 70's and 64's, my favorite rifle is a Model 70 chambered in .270WBY I've had since I was 13. I'm partial to the Winchester's made in New Haven Connecticut tho ;)
