We get that occasionally, but mostly windchill, today for example it's 29, feels like 19. KS definitely has 4 seasons:

Spring
Sucks
Fall
Sucks worse

One thing we do get that truly sucks are the ticks and chiggers, hence the mobile shooting platform pictured..

I don't miss chiggers one bit. Growing up in the south, they were life haha.

I’m making some progress. Still not sure what caliber or what I’m building, but I did grab a scope. This is my first S&B. After some reading I was intrigued. Stopped by EuroOptic to kill some time between meetings and they had it on sale, so I went ahead and grabbed one.

What to do I plan on refinishing the wood stock on a .22LR and a Shotgun for winter project. Then reload a several hundred .223 Rem. Come Spring I need to reload several thousand Trap and Skeet 12ga and 28ga shells.
What did I do today put corn out for the Squirrels and instead had 5 deer come eat it, Oh Well

Do you guys have any recommendations on sites that are good to look at barrels, stocks, and triggers at? I currently have 4 or 5 but don’t know what may be out there that I’m unfamiliar with.

Also, any line to places that may have hard to find brass? Trying to decide on a caliber that I can get reloading components for easier too.

I have been loading shotgun shells the past couple of days. Do it during the winter after deer seasons but got an early start account of looking at hand surgery this winter hopefully. Find out Tuesday Dr appoint with surgeon. Then cataracts find out next month if they will remove them or keep putting me off. So, in the meantime I'm reloading shotgun shells for skeet and 5 stand this coming year.
