Just 26 more days of 24/7 work days and I'll take off 10 for thanksgiving and enjoy turkey in the bush, maybe even I'll put something on the ground, I know the kids will. :grin:

I've been real lucky. Right now I'm scheduled for four, ten-hour shifts, Mon - Thursday. Every weekend is Fri/Sat/Sun - at least for now. We have been working a lot of overtime though, due to being short-staffed and there's a lot of work load too.
Still, am senior enough that my scheduled hunting and fishing vacations hold up just fine... :grin:
Love my job, but if a man gets only work and no play, what's the point?

Where are all these desperately unemployed people? Were 3 men down on a 12 man crew and can't get anybody we hire to stick around long enough to learn it. Pays good too! Nobody want's to work I guess. Damn 70 hour weeks, I haven't even had a fish dinner or shot a clay target yet! Reloading is way behind. So much for any load tweaking. I'll just have to roll up what I've got and hope it holds 2 MOA or better.

I'm in that same boat, I was hoping corn harvest would bee a week later, or sooner, but looks like we'll be starting up the opening weekend of deer season :x . The good news it that I should be done by Nov, so it will only screw up my Oregon buck hunt (hopefully).
I'm pretty dang thankfull to have a job right now though :wink:

Up here in Alberta can't get anybody to work, everybody I know working them self to the bone, just because there is nobody. They gave the hands two raises in one month just to attract labour, that's 26 bucks Canadian.

Yah even alot of bums have figured it out all you have do is show up, and pass that up as working. Lol, but not with me, doesnt fly with me. I'm just believe that if I don't instill a work ethic, then I'm as much to blame as their parents and society is. :?
