I'm the opposite ... :grin:... I think. I just don't like the butterknife bolt handle on rifles but I like the bolt itself. Otherwise that is a great looking rifle!

I do love the butter knife handles and schnable fore ends. Handsome rifle, and the price isn't overly outrageous.

Wow is right POP! Thats one sweet Austria thunderstick. Its beautiful. And I even like the caliber. Maybe thats why you sold the 270, it wasn't a metric caliber! Thats one thing about European bolt guns, they seem to shoot better in metric calibers :wink:

I am minus a 7mm Mag right now...too bad I'm broke from the last few adventures! :lol:

I had an American dentist retired in Germany who had one. He used that 8mm rather extensively in Germany and Africa.
