Yesterday my buddy and I applied for our WY antelope tag. We have one point going in and last year everyone with a point drew in this unit. I don't know when the results will be posted but we are hoping to head west for our first rifle hunt for something other than deer in Wisconsin.

From one Cheesehead to another...."you'll love it". A bit of advice, take along a .223, .22 or something similar in case you run across a prairie dog town. It's a great way to pass some time between hunts or if you tag out early.

We are in as well. Most likely doe tags as we are still a point or two from drawing buck tags again. Good luck!

We put in for Zone 7 as our first choice and 9 as our second. Last year people with one point got a tag and this year there are 50 more tags.

Good areas. You'll have to decide if you want to hold out for "the big one" or if you're just there for fun. That will determine if it takes you 1 day to get your trophy or 2.

After the results come out seriously look into buying leftover doe tags even if you have to hunt other areas. They are dirt cheap, and a hunt is a hunt. You're allowed 4 antelope tags in total, so make the drive worthwhile.

Good luck on the draw.
We are in again this year.

Wait a sec....I thought the application deadline for Wyo. Pronghorn was way back in April. Never will figure out the Wyo. regs. Good luck WT. CL

I thought it was five?
One buck tag and four doe tags with the option of a second buck tag if you paid the money?
I took four does and one buck three years ago when I went to Wyoming.

This is the first year they moved the application dead line to May 31st.

I will talk to my buddy about doe tags if we are awarded our buck tags. Looking forward to seeing if we draw.

OK, might be 5. We only go for does, so that's why the number 4 sticks in my head.

I'll be right beside you in units 6 and 8, if I get drawn. (a tag in either is good for both) The odds look pretty good. And Yeah, as many doe tags as I can get my hands on !!

Applied for a general region deer tag as well.

My brother asked me how the H*!! I was planning on getting all that meat back home to OH. Told him "Who cares ! I'll take care of it as it happens" ;)

My wife, her dad, her brother and I all put in for unit 63 buck and doe tags this year. We were there in 2012 for does only and had a great time. Figured if we were going to drive the 16 hours we may as well try to get a buck as well. I was thinking about trying to bring the wall tent. From what I can gather 20F-55F is what to expect in mid October, not bad at all for a good wall tent hunt. But, I'm worried about what the wind might be like.

And like Guy said, they are very tasty!
