300 BEE 300 prc

Finally got the 300 PRC out today.
Browning Long range MAX 26" tube with 5x20x50mm SWFA

Threw together some loads with only the 212 ELDX.

Loads were made with RL 25 Ramshot magnum and VN 570.

Average velocity with all loads was 3000 fps and groups ranged from 1.5 to .75".

I am very happy for loads just thrown together using different powders.


Here is the 300 PRC. BTW hate the looks of the stock. I am a traditionalist, but damn if it does not fit great!!!



Then I took out my MK V Deluxe 300 Bee

Shoots like a house of fire with 180 AB and PT. Tried the TTSX today.......What can I say?

That right there is why I love Weatherby's! Beautiful and deadly!

Fotis, is your Bee a standard 26" barrel or longer?
I get 3090 fps @90F with 180 grn Barnes TSX with 81 grn IMR7828 but still 0.432" at 200 yards.
It could be the primer though...I use CCI200 (large rifle)

Do you load to mag length 3.6" or longer. At 3.6" TSX vs TTSX, the second seats deeper and would explain your higher MV
Anyway, again, great looking rifle and even better shooting!

The stock is beautiful. Great shooting and I love a range like that out of my mancave.

I totally babied it during a whitetail hunt. Nailed one at 178 yards.
