My wife the dog and I went out about 10:30 last night and stayed until about 1:00 am this morning. From 10:30 until 12:20 or so was just spent with the top down looking up at the stars. Then I thought that the milkyway should be high enough above the horizon so I broke out the camera.

Thanks Guys. This is only the second time that I have tried to capture the milky way and i have really enjoyed doing this. It is a little difficult finding places with low enough light pollution to do this. Even this image has some and that was one reason that I had to wait until almost 12:30 for it to be high enough in the sky to show up.
