This is my family's Olive Garden imitation, home made zoupa tuscana soup, my brothers attempt at copying their bread sticks (very close copy), and a ceasar salad pack that we just picked up from Walmart to make it easy. This was really good together!

I'm trying to get the soup recipe from my Mom to add it to my list.

It's funny - some years ago I noticed that my wife and I really enjoyed salads at Olive Garden. So... I took note of what they included and started building salads at home with the same ingredients! Mama found Olive Garden salad dressing at the supermarket - and we've been enjoying really nice salads for several years. Ours are a "magnum" version of the Olive Garden salad with more goodies in them now. They've evolved and we are enjoying.

Your meal looks very appetizing. The bread sticks do look identical to those at the restaurant!

Regards, Guy

Well, you could be giving the Garden a run for their money. What's the charge for that lunch? Hours you are open?;)
I'm pretty sure we eliminated any reason to visit the restaurant with this meal, but if I had to cook for very many more people I'd probably drop dead from exhaustion by the end of the week! 😅

Several years ago, my wife found the recipe for zuppa toscana in a book. We have made it a lot but I "enhanced it" by adding onion, a little minced garlic, and more meat and potatoes than the OG version.

I also make 'cheesy bread", a recipe I concocted using pre-sliced French or Italian bread from Walmart, butter, grated parmesan and shredded Italian blend cheese.

Really good on a cold winter day.20240109_163333.jpg
