Which cartridge do you like so much, you have multiple firearms for it?

Closet rifle owner:D
Guilty As Charged...They spend most of their time in Closet/Safe.
I use the 6.5 Creed as a teaching rifle and let people use it for hunting.
With Rapid City, SD opening a new range later in the the summer, they will have 600 yard F-Class matches.
Probably 600 yard BR as well.
I will grab a friend and let them choose whether they want to shoot Open or TR, and I will shoot they other.
For 600 yard BR I will use one of my benchrest pistols

Just joking with you sir. I am amazed at your ability to shoot with your pistols.

It's a disease and I don't wish to be cured! Most of my doubles 35 calibers but I don't make online lists...

For .22’s, a Browning Buckmark, a High Standard Victor, 3 10/22’s and a 77/22.
3 rifles in 257 Roberts
3 in 30-06.

2 - 25-06 (Remington Mountain Rifle 700 DM & Kimber 8400 Classic)
4 - 7mm-08 (Kimber Montana 84m, Tikka T3x SS Lite & 2 Rem 700 youth models)
3 - 308 (Bergara Premier B-14 HMR, Bergara Carbon Wilderness HMR and Rem 700 LTR)

Thinking about re-barreling one of the 308s to a 7mm SAW or 25 Creed. Maybe the premier B-14…

This post made me think about my early years too. After college when I moved out on my own I had a 410 and a 12ga, a 30/06and a 257Roberts plus a couple 22s. I didn't know just how good I had it! I really wish I had that BLR-81in 257Roberts back...

A BLR in 257 Roberts is on my Bucket List!
There was one listed for sale a little while ago here in Canada, but they had improved it...and I would prefer an original.

308 win- Ruger M77 Scout, Ruger m77 compact, Weatherby Vanguard- probably going to sell the compact. Handy but the scout does the same but more.
30-06 SPRG- Howa 1500 SS, CZ 557, Cz 600, Mauser m18
8x57-Voere, Zastava, Tikka, Sauer, CZ, Brno, Husqvarna, Sporters- As per my user name, my favorite hence the many flavors.
7x57- Original Mauser M98 (1912), Original Mauser m98 Expert

This one is loaded haha. Because I like to collect old levers, and old Winchester's my count in multiple guns of the same caliber is off set. Those are more I get whatever cal the gun I find is already in and not really the caliber I want.

For guns that I bought new and picked the caliber myself, it's a 300 wsm. I have a few different guns in this cal. and I sought after them. A close second is 7 mag.
For pistol it's .45 (thanks 1911).
If you look at my levers, I would guess it's 30/30 that I have the most of overall, but that's not necessarily because that is my preferred caliber of rifle or level. I love the cal, but it's not really my favorite.

What's your favorite cartridge in the levers?

There is two answers to this one; for guns I'm colleting I like the old world, rare calibers. The odd ball stuff is what I really want in those. Most of them I don't carry or shoot much.

For a lever I'm going to carry hunting I really like 44mag. I most frequently hunt with a lever in heavy wooded areas and when doing drive style hunts. The 44 is a good hard hitting, short distance round that is decently comfortable in the heavy wooded area. There is really no such thing as a caliber that can shoot through some light brush without risk of moving your shot, but this cal (I hunt with 220 and 250 grain) has some mass to possibly hold up better. My fav use to be the 45-70, but the 44 is so nice to shoot and my 44's are more compact so that has became my new go to and I have a couple different options in levers with this cal now.

I am on the search for a lever in 35 Rem, I do think that could be a better option with good power and better distance, just don't have a ton of experience with it.
