Christmas Rifle List!

I wish for Christmas is to have one of the major rifle manufacturer to come out with a SS bolt action rifle with a 22 to 24" barrel and be fairly light weight in 338-06 caliber. Too bad Weatherby wouldn't make up a limited run in their Vanguard series. I think the 338-06 is a great caliber that just doesn't get the respect it deserves. I feel if somebody would produced one at a reasonable price point they could sell a quite a few of them. Just my opinion and sure it will never happen because it's not the newest and flashy think to come out but it just plain works great.

When I sold my late Brother in Laws guns one was a Model 70 featherweight in 338/06. Still had the tags on it. I still lament not buying that one from my sister. Great cartridge.

No immediate plans to buy a rifle but have committed to rebarreling the #1 257 Roberts. I’ll go with PAC NOR. I still day dream about a battery of #1A set up with all the cartridges spawned from the 06. That being said should I find a reasonably priced 416 Rigby with good wood I’ll probably snap that up.

For me, I would love to see Ruger reintroduce the Deer Stalker 44 Carbine in 44 Rem Mag.
I would also like to stumble into a Winchester 94 in 32 Win Special.

IDK, I think @shortstuf92 is spot on! I don’t even own a 338 of any kind anymore, but that one was probably my favorite of them all.

I wish Marlin would reintroduce the .25-35 in their 336; lever guns are in and its a great cartridge!

Would like to see a regular non big loop Marlin 1895 without a threaded or ported barrel, 22-24” long, blued and walnut in both .444 and .45-70!

I also wish Winchester would release a Centennial Model 70 standard grade or featherweight to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the .270 Winchester.

I wanted to like those but just couldn’t get use to the butt stock/cheek weld area on it. Sold a beautiful one in 308 with less than a box of ammo through it.

A new Marlin 1894 in .41 Mag. I'm not too picky on configuration but an octagon barrel would be sweet or a round 18" threaded barrel. Since I'm dreaming, perhaps a Springfield Waypoint with carbon fiber barrel in 6 or 25 Creedmoor.

Remington 700 375rum left hand and a weatherby mark v 340 left hand. Pretty sure I will have to build the rum , I need two more big boomers like a hole in the head. Perhaps a 416 rem mag
