The 224 Bee Saga

About 80 fps..but so was every other load I put through it some where over a hundred feet per second. No matter what I changed made no difference. This included the brass preparation being meticulous. I'm not an expert but was always wondering whether or not a bad Barrel can cause this if not then it's only combustion and I did not know how to fix this. Even federal 215m did not make a difference.

Didn't figure a mag primer would make any difference. It's not neccesary for that small of a case. I'm curious to see what weatherby finds out. The accuracy is definitely all over the place. So much for their accuracy guarantee. I'd be more worried about the 2.5 MOA groups at 100 yards than an ES of 50-80 fps myself. My bet is a bad barrel. My 223 has an ES of 50-90 and still puts 10 shots in .6"-.7" at 100 yards and will shoot 1-1.5 MOA out to 1K. Shot many loads with an ES of 50-100 and still shot sub MOA at 100. Believe the target, not your chrono numbers. ES and SD isn't everything, especially at 100 yards.
