7mm Rem Mag

You have really taken a liking to this powder! I have 1lb on my shelf. My plan is to shoot it soon while it's cold out, then again as it starts to warm, and one more time this summer. I really want to see that swing. A lot of people speak highly of it, you can't ignore that.

I do like it. We had only two pounds at the shop and I wasn't able to try as many different cartridges and bullets with it as I wanted, but all of my results were good... So, when I could, I bought 8 pounds of it for myself. My 25-06 has been very happy ever since, moving a 100 gr Barnes TTSX at 3350 fps with good accuracy.

I want to do more with it using the 257 Wby and the 7mm Rem Mag.

25-06, i may never like that cartridge because of one rifle haha! That said, the quarter bore is getting so popular and i can't look away from the reputation of the 257 wby and it supposedly dropping deer in their tracks. That's appealing to me, I hate tracking lol!

What temps were you testing Grand at when you tried it?

Oh crud, I have to look that up? ;)

I know with the 25-06 and the 100 gr Barnes I was testing it in October and put it to use in December. Moderately cool. 60's I think for each of them. I may have that noted somewhere, but 60's seems correct. Might have been 70's in October.
