The 6GT is rocking it!

PROOF 7.5T, 15.9” barrel, Holland brake, McMillan stock, Borden Alpine XP, Dell trigger. Omega Precision/Peter Angelos did the rebarrel.
Groups at 100 yards.

Glenn had some time and this is a 10-shot group, and every shot was a different powder charge 3/10’s of grain. He told me he got a little excited on shot number one and shot number 10, but look where the other 8 went.

This XP just wants to shoot.
Then he decided to try some other loads from that ladder that he shot.

We decided to go with a 33.6 grains, as the extreme spread was 7 ft./s
2680ish FPS with Hornady 109 ELD-M’s.

This barrel may speed up with more rounds through it, but I think it’ll be good for us to get started with for sure!

Sweet rig and excellent shooting for sure. By looking at the target, 33.6 grains seems to be the sweet spot to start, a little seating depth adjustment and you ready to swat mosquitoes.
Our thoughts exactly.
Plus, it was windy when Glenn did the 4 different groups.
We don't even have 50 rounds through the barrel yet, and I have more brass that needs to be fired for the first time.
