Why doesn't Nosler HBN Coat Their Bullets?

I'm shifting back to bolt actions myself. Two Tikka T3x and two Savage 110.
All get my special "women's touches". SRS Hunter Rails (ARCA/Picatinny combo rails), muzzle brakes, Backfire Shop recoil pads, lighter trigger springs, and Glades Armory tactical bolt handles.
A woman who knows what she wants! 😎

I use Salmon River myself, and I like light trigger and quality muzzle brakes.
Borden clone Alpine XP-100 action, 25-284 (7.5T) Bartlein Carbon barrel, Dell trigger (Under a pound), Holland Radial baffle brake, and a shortened SRS rail.

Nice looking rig Ernie👍

Mark,
The old Winchester Lubalox Ballistic Silvertip coating was a black oxide wax coating. Completely different from the Hexagonal Boron Nittride coating being discussed here. Buy yourself some Speer Gold Dots and give them a whirl.
I used Nosler Failsafe with Lubalox; It was a major mistake because it was a royal pain in the rear end to clean the rifle!

Jeepers, I’ve been loading since the mid 60s and finally wrapping my head around buying an annealer. Tried Moly coating years ago, bad idea in my book. Now this! What the hell, the annealer is sitting in the cart may as well add HBN coating and be done. Not like I dont have two spruce trees and 1/2 dozen larch trees that died this summer, need felling, cut to firewood and split. You guys and gal are a problem.
