    tungsten causes leukemia?

Anyone remember saccharin??? It caused cancer in mice too... Only thing is at the concentration levels that they recieved an average human would have to consume an Olympic-sized swimming pool of it to get cancer!!!

    Using different lots of brass

The only problem i could forsee is; if you are close to max load and one lot of brass is more brittle than the other, you may incur some possible case rupture or seperation. If you are not near max load you shouldn't have any issues......

    Poll Question????

Not really a vote because I prefer my Kimber CDP II to all of my other handguns and it is a single action, but I just purchased a Taurus PT 92 AFS because it was the least expensive 9mm that my local shop had in stock and I was looking for some relatively inexpensive to shoot in centerfire and...

    concealed carry revolver?

Taurus has a new model that came out a few months ago that is a 5-shot .410 shotshell or .45 LC with a 3" barrel. May be one to consider - http://www.taurususa.com/products/gunse ... ?series=41 - I believe it can be had in 3" mag as well now!!!

Kimber Pro carry II in stainless

This entire post is in My Humble Opinion............. I don't believe you can ever go wrong with a Kimber!!! For use as a carry or truck gun, I would find a factory load that it likes and use that. I would think an XTP, Golden Saber or HydraShock would be a good choice. There are many posts...

    Tactical Pro II

I went with the Custom CDP II. My only reccomendation is to purchase some good clips from Chip McCormick or Wilson Combat. Number all your clips and when one starts acting up, relegate it to plinking duty at the range. Sorry about the quality.......... Camera Phone!!!

    CCI #41 military primers & .223/5.56 loads

In reading you post, i remembered reading about small rifle magnum primers for the 223 somewhere. It took me a while to locate the data. It is my Lyman 47th Reloading handbook circa 1992. They don't have the Nosler 77 grain CC bullet listed. Here is some sample data for a 55 grain "Jacketed...

    shakes!

You may consider a military style sling in conjunction with the tree that is being usedas a rest. My grandad taught me to shoot using an old military sling on a 22 and to this day all my rifles sport that style sling. Prone / kneeling / sitting / standing my arm is still through that sling...

    Browning A-5

From the looks of the trigger and safety, that may be either a Remington/Browning co-manufacture gun or one produced during WWII for military use. I would seriously consider taking it t a competent and trusted gunsmith and get his opinion. I believe most of the public use Browning A-5's made...

    Rejuvinating tumbler media

A little late on this one, but I have had good luck using Ronsonol Lighter Fluid for Zippo lighters - The active ingredient being Naphtha, I believe. A healthy squirt or two when it needs it and I have been using the same media for a while now (possibly a year or so...........)

    RUGER M77 FRONTIER RIFLE

No range results to post, ; the weather just didn't want to become agreeable. It rained on me most of the weekend and when the rain left the wind showed up. I was able to check max load work ups on my 270 win with 140 AB's and the 308 win with some old 155 smkhpbtpm I had laying around...

    RUGER M77 FRONTIER RIFLE

When i started reloading it was for my 243 / 270 / 30-30 contender, so most of my powder selection had been around them and the IMR powders (3031 & 4350). While workingup my max load in this rifle I shot each powder at its own target (mainly to let the barrel cool down some while I was changing...

    RUGER M77 FRONTIER RIFLE

Thanks for the response guys. I purchased the frontier rifle after trying to lug my 26" + B.O.S.S. Browning 7Mag through my family's land in GA. It was almost impossible to say the least and my sucessive hunts were with a Super Blackhawk 44, but I have never been a great shot with a pistol...
