LAR Grizzly is out of business, the only place to get one is on ebay and i do not really trust the persons selling them, it may be worn out instead of their word saying it is in excellent condition, blah blah. i reaklly did not like the Wildey though, but love a souped up 1911 in .45 Win Mag...

I shot different loads for the .38 Super with Unique, Bullseye and Blue Dot yesterday with 5 different bullets for each powder. range shoot

I took out my 6.5 x 284 built by High Score Gunsmithing out of my closet and had some dust on it. I last shot it last April when the crops were too high to shoot anymore. I last used the 142 MatchKings and shot an average of 1.5-1.75 inch 5 shot group at 500 yards. I bought some Bergers and...

    Supported chamber

YeaYow, Why not? It may be possible to load close as hot as the raceguns that shoot for the power factors at tournaments. Is it possible to load to 1400-1450 feet per second since the chamber is supported?

    cast bullets vs copper bullets

What is the difference between cast bullets and copper bullets and why use cast bullets if the lead fouls your rifling? Does cast bullets need lube to seat and why the gas checks on them? Mark

    Supported chamber

I e-mailed Kimber and they say that the 38 Super Target II has a supported chamber. Does that mean that I can go above maximum weighed charges stated in the manuals? Mark

    .355 or .356 diameter bullet

The standard diameter for .38 Super is .356 diameter and there are not very many bullets in .356 except for FMJ 130 grain from Remington and Winchester. I found an old box of Sierra Tournament Master 150 grain .356 diameter FPJ today and it is the discontinued product and I'll see how it...

    FMJ flat nose bullets

I am trying to conserve money buying bullets in bulk of 500 or 1000. Has anyone used Rainer or Hornady full metal jacjet flat nose bullets and if you have, how would you rate them in accuracy and quality? They are cheaper than the high quality bullets for bowling pin shootouts.

    switch powders

I like to switch to some other powders to experiment with to find a excellent load for the .38 Super. Are there any other great powdersbesides the W231 and Blue Dot for the .38 Super? Any recipes you want to share with us?
