    S&W M&P

I have a Glock 22 (45 ACP) and picked-up my M&P 45 just a few days ago. I have not fired it yet but everyone tells me it will be a welcome change from the Glock. S&W is running a special until April 30th ($50 mail in rebate and 2 extra mags). I'll be shooting it this weekend and I'll let you...

    45 ACP

Well I desided to have some work done on my pre-ban colt combat commander. I had it "Kimberized." In addition, I just bought a nice M&P 45! I'll be happy for a while. :)

    Competition Rifle (What to buy???)

Hi Guys! I've been shooting in a bunch of mini matches at my local range, mostly bench rest and some 200yrd offhand shooting. I've been using my tricked out FN (in 308) for the bench rest shooting and my (Rem 700) for offhand shooting. I recently joined a new club that hosts multiple "real"...

    Bronze vs Brass Bore Brushes

Thanks for the info on the 22LR and I will make changes to my frequency and type of cleaning on those firearms. But what about using bronze on non-22lr firearms (firearms using copper bullets)? I guess the question is using bronze brushes going to "hurt" the barrel? Should one only use brass? Is...

    Bronze vs Brass Bore Brushes

That explains the grouping problem I've had with my Walther SSP pistol. I clean it every 100 rounds. :(

    Bronze vs Brass Bore Brushes

I was recently told (by a gunsmith) to use only brass brushes on my new high end 22lr. He said using bronze with scratch he barrel. I do have both but always thought the brass was too soft (especially for cleaning after using copper jacketed bullets). So, I thought I would ask the experts...

    45 ACP

Tell me about it  I would love a Kimber! But since there is nothing that can be done about it; Do you like or know anyone that has the Smith SW1911? Mike

    45 ACP

JD338, All Colt pistols that were manufactured after 1997 (I think that's the correct year) are illegal in MA! From what I understand, gun manufacturers have to submit their guns for "testing" by the state and if they don't or they don't "pass", they are illegal to purchase. I pretty sure that...

    45 ACP

Hi Everyone, Since I live in MA, my options are limited as far as handguns go. All new Colt pistols are banned, which is unfortunate because I really like the 1911 feel. One gun that is on the "approved list" is the Smith SW1911. Does anyone have one and if so, do you like it? Mike

    Looking for a .223 Rem

Hey Guys, I'm looking for a .223 rem large capacity semi. I like the feel of the Ruger Mini-14 (light, easy to carry) but I want something with better accuracy. I don't like the weight or feel of the AR type of rifle. Is there anything out there? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Mike

    Primer Sealant

dcop75, I have some experience with bullet/primer sealer. I replied to a post sometime ago. Here it is: http://www.noslerreloading.com/phpBB2/v ... highlight= I only use the sealer on my hunting loads secondary to the conditions/elements. Hope this helps, Mike Fontaine

    range day, .223 & .308

Hey Guy, Glad to see you had some time to get out and shoot with your son. I have that exact gun (Rem 700 LTR in 308). You right about the trigger, real crsip! I brought mine down to 3#. You'll find it shoots the Nosler 155gr C.C. and Lapua Scenar 155gr just as well as the 168 SMK. As far as...
