Trail camera recommendations

Gerry, probably a good thing there is no cell service where you wanted to set your trail cams; we cannot use the ones equipped for cell service here in BC. (unless they have changed the regs)

I’ve had good luck with the Tactacam Reveal cameras. They are all set up locally on the homestead so I use a battery box with a 12 volt battery rather than AA batteries.

I'm subscribed to your YouTube channel. You sure have a great spot for your cameras. Really liked the one with the "elk littles" all together.

Bought another one on sale at Canadian Tire Friday. It's a Covert cam so we'll see how that works out. Up to three now so I'll back off getting more for a while. Will check out some of the ones mentioned here in the future.

This year I picked up some Spypoint Cellular cameras. They are way better than the Moultrie cellular camera I tried last year.

I’ve been using the Magic Eagle trail camera for a couple of seasons now and it's been rock solid. No WiFi or cellular needed—it stores everything on an SD card. The battery life is great, and it captures sharp images day and night. Super easy to set up too, which is a big win when in remote areas.
