Hi,

Looking for some .358 250 grn "premium" bullets like the:

Nolser Partition
Swift A-frame
Norma Oryx

Looking for about 100 and need to be able to load in a M7 350RM at 2.810".

Thanks,

Chuck

I couldn't find where it said Speer" or Hot Cors and the ones I've loaded didn't have cannelures. They kind of look like Hornady's.

I just sent them an inquiry asking..

Thanks,

Chuck

The Speer 250s showed up yesterday!

Then a friend swung by today and handed me 2 sealed boxes of Nosler 250 PTs, 6 boxes of old Speer 250s and 2 boxes of Speer 220 FNs (both in yellow boxes). So, I've now got enough for the hunt and some serious practice!

Nice. Sounds like you are living the dream.
Happy shooting.

I think ether the Speer or Hornady 250 gr. spitzer type bullets with work just fine on just about anything you might want to hunt. Personally I like the 225 gr. Barnes TSX for my main .35 Whelen. Six shots for six elk goes a long way toward approval. That bullet may be a bit too long for a .350 Rem. Mag
I have a friend that lives in Canada who hunts with the .35 Whelen and his choice of bullet for moose and Grizzly Bear on the rare occasion he gets a tag is the 250 gr. Speer Hot Core spitzer load reasonbly hot.
My favorite .35 Whelen is a custom Mauser I found at a gun show. It was so nice I didn't even argue the price. It's been my go to elk rifle ever since. I have two others, a Ruger tang safety M77RS and a Remington M700 Classic. Neither of those two can handle the TSX load which runs 2710 in the Mauser and barely reaches 2600 in the other two. However, both rifle do reasonably well with either the Speer or Hornady 250 gr. bullets.
