Today ran a comparison between Fed 215 and CCI BR-2 primers in my boys 30-06 in a Rem 783. I decided to compare my Magnetospeed and Gramin. The Garmin did miss the Fed 215 at 59 grs. The MS was always showed a bit more velocity. As far as the 2 primers the Fed 215 started to show some flattening at 58 and 59 (maybe softer cup). The powder is a BL-C2 equivalent I got from MR.
Magnetospeed is the M Garmin is the G

The actual load is with N140 , I just want to see if I could pick up a little more speed. N140 is what we’ll stay with.

If I read your test correctly, you are comparing one data point at each load. I would think that a sampling average of 5 shots at each charge weight would be a minimum statistical sampling to arrive at a conclusion.

The bullet has to be a distance for the doppler to pick it up and to get a second ping to establish two times in order to figure speed.
That is mostly like correct. I have a large metal pipe section we shoot thru to help tame sound. The Garmin does struggle a bit with that.

I took Barnes BL-C2 data and worked up 1gr charges with both primers to see where I hit pressure. No load work up intended , just finding max pressure for given powder.
