Took the gravel into town, found these guys near the bottom of Mt. Emily. They're 1200 yards out so the pics not great

Vince we were to be down there by thanksgiving but the Son in Laws cancer treatment became more complicated. We have stayed to keep tabs on the stock, dogs, farm, green houses, farm stand and most importantly the grand daughter. The kids have to travel for treatment but it appears like the routine is settling down so we hope to get down for a couple of weeks, perhaps a couple of shorter trips. I’ll reach out when we get down there.

Strange they came that far down without snow to push them

We had snow all the way down in the valley last week, I think at this time of year it doesn’t take much to push them. That being said there are not very many elk down currently.
